Cast drawing I will allow students to learn a rigorous and tactile approach to drawing. Tactile drawing provides students with the tools to build strong perceptual and analytical skills. Understanding line, value, shape, volume, texture and light is crucial to developing accurate spatial relationships and creates concrete building blocks for assessing form. Students will familiarize themselves with a variety of shading techniques such as cross contour line, cross hatching and graduated tone.
