***Students will be required to provide their own art supplies. Each class will outline the materials needed on its syllabus.***

Enrollment Policy

As of the 2017-2018 year, any student who is hardworking and passionate about learning classical fine art techniques is welcome to enroll. Students at Princeton Academy of Art begin at many different skill levels and ages but grow alongside one another.

Students may enroll at any time, however, must understand that if they are entering a course later than their peers, it will take time for them to reach the same stage and progress level as them.

Those who put in ample time and effort into their studies both inside and outside of the classroom are those that will progress faster and flourish at PAA.

Enrollment is considered final when the full price of tuition is paid.

All registered students at PAA agree to hold harmless its employees, volunteers, as well as any and all other persons connected with PAA from all liability to any damage students may sustain by reason of their registration, participation, or use of equipment and facilities.

PAA and its faculty reserve the right to remove any student whose conduct is disrespectful or disruptive to the Academy. Depending on the severity of the removal students will receive a partial refund.

Pricing Policy

We accept payments annually, bi-annually and monthly.

Late fee charges will be applied to payments received 5 days after they are due.


Princeton Academy of Art is not responsible for providing or assisting in finding housing for non-local students.

Attendance Policy

Students must receive a 70% attendance rate in their course in order to be eligible to move forward to upper level courses in our program.

Students cannot learn if they do not consistently attend class. Consistency is key and we use this to evaluate the level of commitment to our program each student has.

Make-Up Policy

Princeton Academy of Art is not responsible for missed classes and cannot prorate or refund student payments after the classes are missed/skipped. We do however understand that emergencies arise and each individual situation will be processed on a case by case basis. PAA reserves the right to accept or deny any request for make up.

In the event that the student misses multiple classes, they must contact their instructor to organize make up time if that instructor so chooses to accommodate. Princeton Academy of Art cannot guarantee the make-up option for the student will be suited to their personal needs or schedule.

Refund Policy

Students who wish to revoke enrollment will be refunded in full if cancellation documents are received in writing by mail, fax or email 31 days prior to the first day of class.

Ex. Painting course begins Jan. 15th, 2018.

Cancellation letter must be RECEIVED by December 15th, 2017.

Students who withdraw from a course after the first class pay a fee of $150 and will be refunded for the remainder of the semester.

Students who withdraw after the second class in the semester will not receive a refund.

In the event PAA has to cancel a course due to small class size or other external factors, students will receive a full refund and will be assisted in finding a class that would suit their interests.

Privacy Policy

All content posted on the Princeton Academy of Art website has been curated and selected by the Director with the consent of each student and instructor by way of written contract.

All work is original unless stated otherwise (i.e master copies, photos of master work)
