Why Should I Choose PAA?

Students at Princeton Academy of Art begin at many different skill levels. All PAA students work alongside each other, which provides beginners with the opportunity to receive feedback/critiques from their instructors and their peers. We believe that peer critiques are equally crucial as those given by instructors. Community is of great importance to us at PAA, and we want each student to grow with us and not feel disconnected from those at higher skill levels than themselves.

Princeton Academy of Art believes that art students should be as focused on improving their craft as they connect themselves to the core reason they are making art in the first place. Being an artist means closely analyzing and interpreting the world around you.

At Princeton Academy of Art, our administrators and instructors believe in providing students with the highest level of art instruction possible and in nourishing our students’ minds. By participating in philosophical discussions and attending lectures or symposiums, students can connect with the arts and other fields of higher education in innovative and productive ways. We believe in uniting all areas of higher education and combating fragmentation in our education system that occurred during the 20th century. An artist is a scientist, a mathematician, a philosopher, and more.
